Victoria’s Secret sales rise 10 percent

Victoria’s Secret has reported a 10% increase in sales, reaching $1.6 billion, or approximately 1.38 billion euros, in the second quarter. This growth has led the company to revise its outlook for the year, with expected sales now ranging from $7.1 billion to $7.18 billion, or around 6.11 billion to 6.18 billion euros.

The company’s operating income for the quarter was $257 million, or about 221.1 million euros, showing a significant year-over-year increase. Net income rose to $183 million, or approximately 157.5 million euros, from $16 million, or around 13.8 million euros, in 2025.

The international segment was a key driver of the quarter’s performance, with sales growing 20% to reach $273.4 million, or about 235.3 million euros. Sales in North American stores increased by 8.9%, while the direct channel saw growth of 8.1%.

They also benefited from $140 million, or around 120.5 million euros, in reimbursements related to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. Adjusted operating income was $124 million, or approximately 106.7 million euros, exceeding the company’s guidance of $90-100 million, or around 77.4-86 million euros.

CEO Hillary Super stated, “We delivered another solid quarter, with broad-based growth across the business. Our Path to Potential strategy is working, and our brands are stronger and more relevant.” The company plans to increase strategic investments in marketing to strengthen its reach and customer relationships.

Victoria’s Secret will focus on product innovation, such as the Very Sexy line, as well as campaigns and the docuseries Angels Among Us, ahead of the upcoming Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Los Angeles. Based on the first-half performance and expected momentum for the second half of the year, the company has revised its guidance for 2026.

The adjusted operating income is now expected to range from $560 million to $590 million, or around 482-507 million euros, compared to the previous guidance of $550-580 million, or approximately 473.2-499 million euros. For the third quarter, Victoria’s Secret expects net sales to increase to between $1.5 billion and $1.6 billion, or around 1.3 billion and 1.38 billion euros, with an operating income of $10-20 million, or approximately 8.6-17.2 million euros.

The second half of the year will focus on consolidating the recovery, supported by brand strengthening, customer base growth, and increased marketing efforts.
